Chapter No: 51

Anas (RA) said: "Qais bin Sa'd (RA) used to be, to the Prophet ﷺ, in the position of the head of police for a ruler." (One of the narrators) Al-Ansari said: "That is: Due to his affairs that he takes charge of."

Chapter No: 52

Jabir bin Abdullah (RA) said: "Allah’s Apostle ﷺ came to me, neither riding a mule nor riding a Turk horse (he came on foot)."


Jabir (RA) said: " Allah’s Apostle ﷺ supplicated for my forgiveness on the Night of the Camel, twenty-five times."

Chapter No: 53

Khabbab (RA) said: "We emigrated with the Apostle of Allah ﷺ, seeking the Face of Allah. So, our reward is with Allah. Among us were those who died and did not consume any of the rewards (in this life), and among us were those who lived to see its fruits and tend to them. Verily, Musab bin Umair (RA) died without leaving anything behind but a garment. When they covered his head with it, his feet would become exposed. And when they covered his feet with it, his head will become exposed. So, Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: 'Cover his head and place Al-Idhkir (lemon grass) over his feet."

Chapter No: 54

Narrated from Anas bin Malik (RA) that the Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "How many are there with dishevelled hair, covered with dust, possessing two cloths, whom no one pays any attention, yet if he swears by Allah then He shall fulfil it. Among them is Al-Bara bin Malik (RA)."

Chapter No: 55

Narrated from Abu Musa (RA) that the Prophet ﷺ said: "O Abu Musa! You have been given a Mizmar (sweet voice) from the Mazamir of the family of Dawud (AS)."


Sahl bin Sa'd (RA) said: "We were in the company of Allah’s Apostle ﷺ while he was excavating the trench, and we were transporting the soil. He passed by us and said: 'O Allah! There is no life except the life of the Hereafter! So, forgive the Ansar and the Emigrants.'"


Narrated from Anas bin Malik (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ used to say: "O Allah! There is no life but the life of the Hereafter! So, honour the Ansar and the Emigrants."

Chapter No: 56

Jabir bin Abdullah (RA) said: “I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying: ‘The Fire shall not touch the Muslim who has seen me or seen one who has seen me.’" Talha said, “Indeed, I have seen Jabir ibn Abdullah.” And, Musa said, “Indeed, I saw Talha.” And, Yahya said, and Musa said to me, “Indeed, you have seen me, and we have hopes in Allah.”


Narrated from Abdullah bin Mas'ud (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "The best generation is my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then, a people will come after them whose oaths will precede their testimonies, or their testimonies will precede their oaths."

Chapter No: 57

Narrated from Jabir (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "None of those who gave the pledge under the tree shall enter the Fire."

Chapter No: 58

Narrated from Abu Saeed Al-Khudri (RA) that the Apostle of Allah ﷺ said: "Do not revile my Companions, for by the One in Whose Hand is my soul! If one of you were to spend gold equal to the Uhud, it would not be equal a Mudd - nor half of it - of one of them."


Narrated from Abdullah bin Mughaffal that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "(Fear) Allah! (Fear) Allah regarding my Companions! do not take them as target (for blame) after me. He who loves them, loves them because of my love and he who hates them, he hates them because of my hatred. And whoever hurts them, he has hurt me, and whoever hurts me, he has offended Allah, and whoever offends Allah, [then] he shall soon be punished."


Narrated from Jabir (RA) that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Surely, those who pledged under the tree shall enter Paradise, except for the owner of the red camel."


Narrated from Jabir (RA) that a slave of Hatib bin Abi Balt'ah (RA) came to Allah’s Apostle ﷺ complaining about Hatib. So, he said: 'O Apostle of Allah ﷺ! Indeed, Hatib is going to enter the Fire!' So, Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: 'You have lied! No one who participated in (the battle of) Badr and (the treaty of) Al-Hudaybiyah shall enter it.'"


Abdullah bin Buraidah narrated from his father, that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "There is no one among my Companions who dies in a land except that he shall be resurrected as a leader and light for them (people of that land) on the Day of Resurrection."

Chapter No: 59

Narrated from Ibn Umar (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "When you see those who revile my Companions, then say: ' Allah’s curse be upon you for your mischief.'"

Chapter No: 60

Al-Miswar bin Makhramah said: "While he was on the Minbar, I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying: 'Indeed Banu Hisham bin Al-Mughirah sought my permission to marry their daughter to Ali bin Abi Talib (RA). But I do not permit it, I do not permit it, I do not permit it - unless Ali bin Abi Talib wishes to divorce my daughter and marry their daughter, because she is a part of me. It displeases me what displeases her, and it hurts me what hurts her."


Ibn Buraidah narrated from his father who said: " Fatimah (RA) was the most beloved of women to Allah’s Apostle ﷺ and among men was Ali (RA)."


Narrated from Abdullah bin Az-Zubair (RA) that Ali (RA) mentioned the daughter of Abu Jahl (for marriage), and that reached the Prophet ﷺ so he said: "Indeed Fatimah (RA) is but a part of me, It hurts me what hurts her and it tires me what tires her."


Narrated from Zaid bin Arqam (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said to Ali (RA), Fatimah (RA), Al-Hasan (RA) and Al-Husain (RA): "I am at war with whoever makes war with you, and peace for whoever makes peace with you."


Umm Salamah (RA) said: "The Prophet ﷺ put a cloak over Al-Hasan (RA), Al-Hussain (RA), 'Ali (RA) and Fatimah (RA), then he said: 'O Allah, these are the people of my house and the close ones, so remove the Rijs from them and purify them thoroughly." So Umm Salamah (RA) said: 'And am I with them, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ?' He said: "You are upon good."'


Aishah (RA) said: "I have not seen anyone closer in conduct, way, and manners to that of the Apostle of Allah ﷺ in regard to standing and sitting, than Fatimah (RA) the daughter of the Apostle of Allah ﷺ." She said "Whenever she would come to the Prophet ﷺ he would stand to her and kiss her, and he would make her sit in his sitting place. Whenever the Prophet ﷺ would visit her, she would stand from her seat and kiss him and make him sit in her sitting place. So, when the Prophet ﷺ got ill and Fatimah (RA)entered, she bent over and kissed him. Then she raised her head and cried, then she bent over him, and she raised her head and laughed. So, I said: 'I used to think that this one was from the most intelligent of our women, but after all she is just one of the women.' So, when the Prophet ﷺ died, I asked her: 'Do you remember when you bent over the Prophet ﷺ and you raised your head and cried, then you bent over him, then you raised your head and laughed. What caused you to do that?' She said: 'Then, I would be the one who spreads the secrets. He ﷺ told me that he was to die from his illness, so I cried. Then he told me that I would be the quickest of his family to meet up with him. So that is when I laughed.'"


Narrated from Umm Salamah (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ summoned Fatimah (RA) on the Day of the Conquest (of Makkah) and he spoke to her, so she cried. Then he spoke to her, and she laughed. She said: "So when Allah’s Apostle ﷺ passed away, I asked her about her crying and laughing. She said: " Allah’s Apostle ﷺ told me that he will die, so I cried, then he told me that I was the master over all the women of the inhabitants of Paradise, except for Mariam the daughter of Imran, so I laughed."


Jumai bin Umair At-Taimi said: "I entered along with my uncle upon Aishah (RA) and she was asked: 'Which of the people was the most beloved to the Apostle of Allah ﷺ?' She said: Fatimah (RA).' So, it was asked: 'From the men?' She said: 'Her husband, as I knew him to fast much and stand in prayer much.'"
